Can adding Pinterest to your business’ social media use add profits?
A few tips to try to raise your bottom line.
Build relationship with clients who pin often, they are the ones with the most followers. (more chances for you to get repined). Ignore the others, your time is too precious to waste on following smaller Pinners.
Cross pollinate your social media. The other social media sites have vastly more users than Pinterest. Use your other social accounts to direct to Pinterest.
Of course pin your products, but also pin about things and stories related to your industry. Tips and tricks related to items you sell make it more human and less about the sales.
Getting clients and potential clients to follow you on Pinterest is important, but just as important is for you to follow those “super” Piners. They may follow you in return giving you that all sought after social media exposure that costs almost nothing to buy!!
Gozooko, the customer always comes first. Our lines of products are
customer driven, and our goal is to meet your needs and to help your
business grow. As always we welcome your comments and suggestions. We look
forward to hearing from you.

Coquette Reinvents Character on HBO's 'True Blood'
The hit HBO series 'True Blood' has done it again, they have featured a Coquette piece in their most recent episode “Let's Boot and Rally” from Season 5.
Rutina Wesley who portrays Tara Thornton in the show, looked amazing on last Sunday's show wearing the Coquette bustier style #1077. Her character has made a dramatic change in fashion since being reintroduced as a young vampire. In a complete style reversal Wesley's character went from plain jane to sexy vixen having fans do a double take. From the Rocker Chic line, this purple and black bustier was paired with simple black pants, making a strong, and surprising, style statement for Tara.
“I was overly thrilled to find out that the hit show was using another Coquette piece,” explained designer Jacqueline Macleod. “This piece was inspired by fishnet trends in lingerie that have become more in-demand over the last year. To know that Hollywood recognizes that and their [True Blood] on-set stylist chose one of our designs, is just amazing!”
The fishnet over lycra bustier has boned underwire padded cups, a center back hook & eye closure and elasticized waist. It features studded trim detailing on the cups and bone covers, removable straps and garters, and comes in small, medium and large. For more ways to stylize this piece view the Coquette 2012 look book online.
Coquette's collection covers a wide range of styles that appeal to all personalities. This line currently has their Rocker Chic, Electric Blue and Emerald Green lines trending. Also comprised within this collection is a full bridal lingerie line, accessories and stockings. The Rocker Chic #1077 bustier, along with other Coquette lingerie, can be purchased from a number of the Coquette retailers both in Canada and the U.S.
The company is always pleased to see their designs on TV, in the news and in the media. Being the second time to have been featured on HBO series 'True Blood,' is an extreme compliment to Coquette and they are honored to have been featured.

CURVExpo set to be hotter than ever
this summer in New York and Las Vegas!
CURVExpo, now in its seventh year, has continued to grow internationally and in the swimwear category.
CURVENY New York will welcome 255 brands, 59% from outside the US. The show will take place on August 5, 6, and 7 in a larger home at the Javits Center. Hall 1E & 1D will allow room for all the new booths and give exhibitors more space to unwind in the expanded lounge area. The dates coincide with the New York Swimwear market week. Top retailers are going to be in the city, and will be able to maximize their time in the newly created CURVENY New York "one stop shop" featuring 72 Swimwear brands. The representation of international brands has grown as well with 151 brands that have a long history of servicing the North American market, such as Canadian brands (26), French brands (26), and UK brands (22). A larger presence of Colombian brands (11) will be noted on the floor; indeed the Free Trade Agreement that was been ratified at the beginning of 2012 now makes Colombian Brands extremely attractive in many respects: styling and fit, price positioning, and service flexibility.
Innovation is the perfect adjective used to describe the best the August 2012 New York and Las Vegas Shows: On one side, brands have worked very hard not only coming up with new designs, fabrics, and products, but also with immediate delivery programs and private label possibilities. On the other side retailers will discover 80 newcomers to the shows. To mention a few: Calvin Klein Swim, DO Paris (The new hot swimwear brand at the Bon Marche Paris), Ella Moss and Splendid (with their brand new lingerie Lines), It Figures (with its new revamped swimwear line), Paladini Italy (with its super elegant lingerie line), Vince Camuto (with its one of a kind Hollywood-feel swimwear line), and Nicole Miller shapewear knows how to make shapewear so classy...
Then the show goes on the road to Las Vegas, where it will showcase the Spring/Summer 2013 designs of 158 Brands, 50% of which are Swimwear Brands, to west coast retailers at the exquisite Venetian Hotel from August 21-23.
Joining CURVENV Las Vegas this year are more than 71 designer swimwear lines giving a sneak peek at their new looks. This is the first time so many swimwear brands will preview their latest collections in one location.
CURVENV Las Vegas has become the ultimate resource for all retailers West of the Mississippi and from Canada by offering a classy and professional environment as well as the best of the best Brands representation on the West Coast. As such, CURVENV is now being thought of as the Swim Fashion Week of Las Vegas!
Both the New York and Las Vegas shows will feature networking events, seminars, parties, and runway fashion shows in order to give attendees a fully rounded experience. Among other events, attendees can RSVP online for: The Get Together Breakfast Seminar, held the first day of each show as a key debriefing meeting for retailers to have an overview of the show. The LELO seminar in New York will unveil a new product category that brings traffic and revenue to the store, The Yin and Yang of Lingerie: "How to increase revenues by expanding product selection and become a 'Sensual Stylist.' And a very important sourcing seminar, "Colombia your new sourcing destination, aiming at efficiency and competiveness," which should be attended by all production managers.
New this season: The So CURVE Fashion Shows, performed by the Crazy Horse Paris dancers, will pay a unique tribute to lingerie and swimwear brands from around the world and their impressive Spring/Summer 2013 Collections in each show. The fashion shows will take place on Monday, August 6th at 6 pm on site at the Javits Center in New York, and in Las Vegas on Tuesday, August 21st at 7:30 pm at the Crazy Horse Theater located in the MGM Hotel. The spectacular choreography and VIP attendees will contribute to a memorable evening celebrating the exciting world of lingerie and swimwear.
LELO, the leading designer brand for Intimate lifestyle products is the presenting SPONSOR of the So CURVE So Swim Fashion Show in Las Vegas, as they are now very famous in the Industry
Vente Privee with American Express, will organize daily brand sales events featuring more than 1,200 major international brands, and will also be the general sponsor of the August 2012 Shows.
As CURVExpo is completing the preparation of its August 2012 shows, it is interesting to consider the recent changes this organization has gone through, and what it means for the US market. The new acquisition of CURVExpo by Eurovet, the world leader at the helm of seven textile and fashion-related fairs, such as Salon International de La Lingerie and Interfilière/Mode City, opens the field for CURVExpo's future expansion into new markets in Europe and In Asia. In turn, CURVExpo strengthens Eurovet's position in the Americas and opens the US market to its European exhibitors.

A businessman on his deathbed called his friend and said, "Bill, I want you to promise me that when I die you will have my remains cremated."
"And what," his friend asked, "do you want me to do with your ashes?"
The businessman said, "Just put them in an envelope and mail them to the Internal Revenue Service and write on the envelope, 'Now you have everything.'"

Progress Made in TPP Talks
Continuing trade talks concerning the Trans-Pacific Partnership
(TPP) have made “important progress”, according to the US, with Canada and Mexico poised to
join the negotiations.
The 13th round of TPP talks, which concluded on Tuesday July 10, involved the US, Australia, Brunei,
Chile, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam.
Described as a “key trade initiative” of the Obama Administration, the TPP is viewed by the US as vital
to boosting exports to the Asia Pacific region.
The US said talks had made “further substantial progress” across 20 chapters covering issues including
customs, cross-border services, telecommunications, government procurement, competition policy, and
cooperation and capacity building.
In addition, the nine countries continued intensive discussions on tariff packages to provide access to
each other’s industrial goods, agriculture and textiles markets.
Meanwhile, the US Trade Representative has notified Congress of its intent to enter into TPP negotiations
with Mexico and Canada, triggering a 90-day consultation period on the new entrants.
The 14th round of TPP negotiations will take place in Leesburg, Virginia, from 6-15 September.
