Aniston's Disappearing
Underwear
While on the set of her new film The Break Up, it seems someone has been sneaking into Jennifer Aniston's trailer, stealing her underwear, then selling it on
eBay. Once the recently single actress found out this was happening, not only was she pissed, but she went as far as to hire a security team to stand guard.

Women Told to Remove
2000 Bras
A NSW council is under attack after forcing women behind a breast cancer awareness campaign to remove 2000 bras from the side of a local highway.
Ballina Shire Council, which ordered the underwear be removed from the fence on the Bruxner Highway, said traffic safety had been compromised.
But, in the proud tradition of their bra-burning sisters from decades past, the Alstonville-Wollongbar Quota Club is standing firm.
President Marilyn Perkins said: "Every bra on this fence represents a women who died in Australia last year from breast cancer and people are treating this place as a memorial.
"It's so petty. This display took almost four hours and 10 women to put up, not to mention the months of collecting bras and stringing them together for it."
A stern letter from the council has already forced the women to take down signs advertising a "Bold and Brassy" bra decorating competition, to raise funds and awareness for the illness.
One man from the Ballina Shire Council event promotion department, said the bras were a traffic hazard.
"We're not outraged morally and the council doesn't want to come between the women and their bras," he stated.
"But if people are being encouraged to stop and add their bra to the fence then that could cause problems with no traffic measures in place."
However, the RTA has given the green light to the display. A spokeswoman said: "The RTA did speak to the TAFE and we said they could do anything on their own property as long as it wasn't a road hazard.
"If they were in the middle of the road it would be a different story."

Special Germ-Fighting Underwear for British Soldiers
Defense officials in Britain are briefing the public on a new wrinkle in the
fight against the heat and dust of Iraq and Afghanistan - germ-fighting underwear.
The antimicrobial underpants have been introduced by the Ministry of Defense as part of a new desert uniform. They are the first undergarments issued to British troops, who traditionally have supplied their own.
A military spokesman says the underwear is not only coated to prevent bacterial infection, developers tried to arrange the seams so they don't chafe.

Madonna Sues Lingerie
Range
Madonna's taking legal action over a range of lingerie, inspired by naked images of the superstar taken 26 years ago.
The singer, 47, is objecting to Nude 1979 - a range of bras and briefs created by Rosanna Ansaloni, which is based on nude pictures taken by American photographer Martin Schreiber in 1979 when Madonna was an 21-year-old unknown dancer in New York.
Madonna was paid just $30 for the saucy snaps and signed away her rights to the images, a decision she later came to regret.
The underwear collection is set to be launched in Britain in November by online lingerie store Figleaves.com.
Madonna's spokesperson Liz Rosenberg says, "This lingerie is misleading the public because Madonna is in no way affiliated with it.
"Her attorneys are starting to gather information now because a line of lingerie is implying that Madonna is associated with it, and that could not be further from the truth."

Sir Elton John to Appear
in Macpherson's Ads
Sir Elton John Will boost sales of Elle Macpherson's saucy underwear range by appearing in advertisements alongside a bevy of scantily clad beauties.
The flamboyant singer is thrilled to help out his model-turned-designer pal and has even written a racy, intimate story to accompany the ad which will be called Rocket Girl.
John writes, "She's faster than a bolt of lightening, but prefers to do things slowly."

Victoria's Secret Robbed
Yet Again
Someone stole $4,335 worth of panties from three tables at Victoria's Secret at the Westgate Mall, the third such robbery there in as many weeks.
First, thieves stole 75 bras worth $2,080, then several hundred dollars' worth of panties a week later, followed by the pile of underwear last Friday.
The head of the detective division, said the bra thieves walked into the store, stuffed the undergarments into bags and quickly left.
The second group of thieves also grabbed underwear and fled.
But the most recent thefts are, well, a bit under wraps.
Apparently no one saw who stole the underwear and the store's surveillance camera was not working, he said.
No one is sure if the thieves plan to wear all that underwear or sell it.

New Advertising Campaign
for Ann Summers
Pubs and bars are the exclusive venue for a new advertising campaign from Ann Summers.
The lingerie and sex toy chain’s new ad is deemed too risqué to appear on
TV – so it is airing on 150 of Avanti Screenmedia’s 1100-strong nationwide bar estate this month.
The ad shows a woman flicking a kidney bean short distances around her flat before it suddenly takes off and bounces around the room. The endline is ‘Ann Summers. The Bean Flicking Experts.’
Avanti’s media sales director explains: “This ad is perfect for our bar TV network. The choice to use in-bar
screen media as a medium has given the creative much more freedom than they would’ve had simply creating an execution for terrestrial TV.
“The bar environment creates a unique collective viewing experience and presents advertisers with instant word of mouth proliferation of their ads.”

The Football Game
A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had great
seats right behind their team's bench.
After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience. "Oh, I really
liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I
just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents." Dumbfounded, her date asked, "What do you mean?" "Well, they flipped a
coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was: 'Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!' I'm like ...
Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents!!
