The search is still on for the Versace security guard who stole
$3.7 million worth of jewelry from the New York flagship store
last month.   What's really surprising about the case is that after 33-year-old William Robinson managed to steal 196 pieces of
bling-bling from the store, he didn't have a better business plan than peddling the stuff at a nearby McDonalds. Even stranger is the fact that Robinson
then managed to sell two diamonds for $10.00 to a Brooklyn taxi driver. But the whole ordeal must have
wound up being too stressful for Robinson, as the thief eventually
stored the rest of the baubles inside the cover of an armchair in a
storage facility before splitting town. Which means that Donatella
got most of her gems back......All's well that ends well....

Fashion-Conscious Judge Bans Bare Midriff
TORONTO - A Canadian judge who once ejected a female lawyer for showing too much cleavage hit the headlines again on Wednesday after she ordered an accused shoplifter out of the courtroom for wearing a belly-button revealing top.
Ontario Justice Micheline Rawlins told the teenager to go and change and scolded the youth's lawyer for his client's appearance, the Chatham Daily News said. "Frankly, your honor, I didn't notice," lawyer David Jacklin replied, before leaving to "check to make sure my other clients are appropriately dressed." Newspapers quoted Rawlins as saying that since the teenager did not have to stare at the judge's midriff, the court should not have to eye hers either. The teen returned to the courtroom clad in a buttoned-down shirt and was thanked by the judge. Rawlins noted that, while the tank top was inappropriate for the courtroom, it had looked nice on the girl.

FASHION designer Mary McFadden has gone missing, and her headquarters has been cleaned out. Staffers who turned up for work last week were barred from entering McFadden's showroom and were shocked to find that their offices, according to Women's Wear Daily, had been "picked clean." Business associates and friends of the eccentric 64-year-old designer, known for her oddly trimmed black hair and powdery white complexion, do not have a clue about her whereabouts, and attempts to track her down have come up empty. McFadden, whose pricey designs can often be recognized by the opulent imported fabrics she picks out herself, apparently shuttered her business on Monday. Since then, New York's fashion world has been abuzz that McFadden, who has had seven (thats right folks 7) husbands, "might have pulled her final disappearing act," as WWD wrote, or that the glamorous globetrotter was simply traveling.

THE economy may or may not be tanking, but for Tommy Hilfiger, the boom never ended. The fashion designer is spending the summer on the French Riviera aboard the "Christina O," the luxurious 325-foot yacht that once belonged to shipping mogul Aristotle Onassis, for a staggering $65,000 a day. He's not occupying all 18 staterooms himself, however. The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, her ex-husband Prince Andrew, Shanghai Tang owner David Tang and Hilfiger's good friend Lawrence Stroll, who owns Asprey & Garrard, are keeping him company. Hilfiger is dining in the room where Rudolf Nureyev once danced, relaxing in the music hall where Frank Sinatra once sang, lounging in the lounge where Winston Churchill once sat, and sleeping in the suite once occupied by Marilyn Monroe. No doubt he is also enjoying the barstools Onassis covered in the skin of whale penises

 GET SPORTY
!  BY RITIKA RAMTRI KUMAR
Todays woman has become more conscious of her body in recent times. Gone are the days when she after motherhood she let herself go and let her body get unwieldy and flabby. Today's woman wants to be in shape and exercising
is an indispensable element in her life. Whether its playing a game, exercising in the gym, or at home the cosmo woman believes in the dictum of 'No pain, no gain'. And no one can fault her on her exercise gear. An important piece of clothing in her exercise kit is the sports bra. Formerly
known as running bras, sport bras are an important piece of athletic equipment. They beat ordinary bras which are not designed for the extra
motion involved in exercise There are two main categories of sports bras: compression and encapsulation. Compression bras compress the breasts against the chest and hold them in place so they have limited mobility. They thus reduce bounce by constricting the breasts with tight, stretchy material, binding them to the body.  Encapsulation sports bras on the other hand support each breast individually up against the chest and are the best bet for larger-breasted women. These bras control bounce by the shape of the cups.
You not only get sports bras from reputed brands like Nike,
Speedo, Adidas, Reebok and Lovable, there also local brands which offer sports bras.
These are available in fabrics such as lycra, coolmax,
(designed to draw perspiration away from the skin), and cotton
(it is non-allergenic so helps avoid rashes and is soft and comfortable). Cotton also provides more comfort than synthetic materials, reduced stretch, and greater support. Basically the fabrics used should allow the skin to breathe since perspiration may increase during most physical exercise. They should ideally be made with moisture-wicking fabrics. The bra should be a blend at of least 50% cotton and a "breathable" material such as lycra mesh to help evaporate sweat and keep odour in check. It should be lined under the breasts and under the arms with material like coolmax that removes moisture from the skin by "wicking" the sweat outward.
Sports bras indeed have come a long way from being uncelebrated to being absolutely essential for any gym-goer. Recently, high-tech engineering has fashioned bras that are not only comfortable and functional, but stylish and fashionable as well. In fact, many sports bras can be worn as outerwear and come in a variety of colors and styles. Bright neons, greens, blues are only a few of the hues available.  More and more attention is being paid to the effectiveness of the support and elasticity to accommodate upper torso movement but prevent breast movement. Newer versions feature sleek, racer-back styles and slip on without having to fiddle with clasps .The cross-strap bras, commonly called 'racerback' straps, are becoming increasingly popular.
Women find the cross-strap designs more supportive.
Some have the convenience of a front tie that can be adjusted
for varying degrees of support. To prevent chaffing, cups are
seamless or have covered seams. Fasteners, hooks and under
wires are also covered to avoid irritations.
The only unfortunate part is that the most popular sports bras being worn in the gyms today are designed more for appearance than support. Depending on the individual's specific needs, support and sizing should be the major considerations. Cosmetic appeal should be secondary. Never buy a sports bra without trying it on.  There are basic design factors that should be considered when choosing a sports bra based on overall structure and fit.
Look for is a soft cup bra with adjustable straps and a back closure.
That way you don't have to get used to underwires digging into you.
You can also opt for either a full coverage bra, or the classic sports bra. Never wear a lacy bra under a t-shirt unless you want everyone to know that you are wearing it. The bra should be smooth against the skin with no rough seams or bindings that could rub or cause irritation. Make sure it doesn't cut in under the arms, and that you can comfortably stretch every which way. The general rule is the less hardware (clips, clasps and wires) the more comfort - but the less support.  Keep track of the brands you buy. They should wash nicely and not lose their stretchiness.
So now that you have the lowdown, it won't be difficult to reduce
bounce during cardio workouts with a comfy and snug-fitting sport bra.
