                               Taxi
The passenger in a taxi wanted to speak to the driver, so he leaned forward and tapped him on the shoulder. The driver screamed, jumped up in the air and yanked the wheel over. The car mounted the curb, demolished a lamppost and came to a stop inches from a shop window. 
The startled passenger said, "I didn't mean to frighten you, just wanted to ask you something." 
The driver says, "Not your fault. It's my first day as a cab driver. I've been driving a hearse for the past 25 years."

Folter Clothing, known for its fetish-inspired lingerie and street wear is updating its website, www.folterclothing.com.
Agnes Yegyan, account executive and designer said, "It's going to be easy to navigate, easy to shop and more life-style driven. We're going to have a photo gallery and a shop section - so if there's a product that wasn't available at your local boutique, you can get it online."
The revamped website will be up and running in early October.

          Cash Infusion Through 
      HMS' Merchant Cash
         Advance Offering
Humboldt Merchant Services (HMS) continues to expand the service it provides as well as it’s focus on the intimate apparel industry. Through the efforts of Vice President Steve Kimberling, HMS has added Merchant Cash Advance to the list .
“Merchant cash advances have grown in popularity in the last several years. As the economy continues to slow and the credit crunch continues to tighten, business owners are looking for alternate financing programs to traditional bank loans and apparel factors.”, states Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Steve Kimberling. 
The advance program allows merchants to “sell” a portion of their future credit card payments and receive a cash infusion now, in as little as 7 days. Going forward, the merchant’s daily credit card batches are split with a portion going to repay the advance and the remaining portion being deposited to the merchant’s checking account as usual.
This Program carries several key benefits:
-Not a traditional bank loan
-No personal guarantees or liens
-No cumbersome lending process
-No conflict with other credit relationships
One of the biggest benefits is the repayment amount is a percent of your daily batch. This means that during a month when your processing volume may be down, less goes toward the repayment leaving more cash flow in your business, unlike a traditional loan with a set monthly payment amount.
Additionally, while bank loans may be earmarked for a specific purchase (a particular piece of equipment, etc) cash advances may be used for any purpose related to the business or not.
Kimberling has been working within the intimate apparel industry for more than 5 years and has an excellent relationship with many manufacturers, distributors, and hundreds or intimate apparel retailers. The adoption of the cash advance program came about as a result of Kimberling listening to clients needs and taking any measures possible to find a solution. With the issues in the country’s current credit market this program is helping manufactures, distributors, and retailers to increase inventory and perform day-to-day operations as well as expansion projects. “We are seeing many retailers using this program to bulk up holiday inventory. On the manufacturer side I am working with several designers to use this program to further their trade show exposure at Curve, Lingerie Americas, The International Lingerie Show and other venues.”

    Mel B Models For Ultimo, 
          But Not Playboy
Pop star and lingerie model Melanie Brown has turned down a $1.85 million offer to pose nude for Playboy - because she limits her naked antics to the bedroom.
The former Spice Girl, who strips down to her lacy underwear as the spokes model for Ultimo, insists she would never shed all her clothes for the men's magazine.
She was reported as saying "No, I'm not going to do it."
But that doesn't mean Brown isn't an exhibitionist - she just prefers to show off her naked body to her husband Stephen Belafonte in the privacy of their own home: "There is (an exhibitionist side to me) - in my bedroom, late at night for hours on end!"
The 33-year-old has replaced Girls Aloud babe Sarah Harding to front Ultimo's newest range.
