Aviana's
New Hires
by Luis Paredes
Aviana recently hired Belinda Spoone as Finance Manager.
"Belinda not only handles our AR and AP functions, but has also taken over primary responsibility for our headwear brands, Headliner and Hat&Hair," said Webb. "She has helped us streamline our invoice processing, helped us get organized. We are running things
more efficiently to help us get ready to land the next big customer."
In similar news, the company recently divided up responsibilities for two members, Christie Webb and Barbara Roth. "Barbara and I have divided up responsibilities. I'm director of sales and marketing and Barbara Roth is Director of Design and Development," explained Webb. "Barbara is going to be out there meeting with retailers, finding out what they want and need in their stores. It's an important part of our growth as a company to introduce styles that retailers haven't been able to find in our overlooked size range."
The shift in focus happened a year ago, but was made official in August.
