$4.5 Million Bra
There are no uncomfortable underwires in the upcoming annual $4.5
million Fantasy Bra that Victoria's Secret uses to highlight its holiday catalog.
The 2007 version was designed by jeweler Mouawad, who had diamonds, rubies, emeralds and yellow sapphires embroidered into a push-up bra.
This year, the company chose 24-year-old Cayman Island-born model Selita Ebanks to don the showpiece for the catalog, which soon will
be hitting U.S. mailboxes.
Ebanks acknowledged the bra was somewhat heavy but quite wearable.
"I felt completely like a woman and so sexy -- your confidence level immediately goes up," Ebanks said.
This year, the company has expanded the Fantasy Bra to be a gift set, which includes a thong, garter, cuff bracelet and matching barrette.

Bra Exhibition for Breast
Cancer Organization
The exhibition aims to raise money for a local breast cancer charity.
A new exhibition at the Liverpool Academy of Art promises an uplifting experience as it celebrates the centenary of the invention
of the bra.
A collection of bras donated by members of the public and celebrities, including former Page Three girl Linda Lusardi, will be
on show.
The exhibition, called Bravo!, aims to raise money for The Lily Centre, a breast cancer support
organization.
It will be open to the public now thru October 26 and all proceeds go to charity.
The display charts the history of the bra and its various incarnations through the ages and how it reflects the changing
fashions.
June Lornie, from Liverpool Academy of Arts, said: "We decided to collect bras for the exhibition - so I've been asking everyone I see
'have you got any bras?' sometimes they think I've gone a bit mental - and perhaps I have!
"But we've had loads of people coming in and donating them."
The exhibition also includes posters from the Wonderbra "Hello Boys" advertising campaign that reportedly caused a string of traffic
accidents when Model Eva Herzigova was seen modeling underwear on billboards positioned near traffic hotspots.
Former page three girl Linda Lusardi has also donated one of her bras to be put on display.
There is also a dress made for the exhibition made entirely from bras.

Reyhan Sofraci Announces
Launch of Qiss Qiss
Reyhan Sofraci, the founder and creative designer of Canada's high-end
swimwear brand Aqua Di Lara, has announced that she will be expanding her company's reach with a new trendy line of women's swimwear Qiss
Qiss. The new brand will be positioned as a mass market line targeted at a wider consumer audience, in a different segment than
Aqua Di Lara which is famous for its couture-style swimsuits. Although Qiss Qiss will occupy a lower price category than its sister brand, the line will remain consistent with the image of style and sophistication that has made Aqualara
so popular among the fashion elite.
Qiss Qiss will be an opportunity for Sofraci to create original and edgy styles tailored to the mass consumer market. The new Qiss Qiss collection will feature a variety of fresh new looks of every style that will include everything from bikinis to cover-ups and cut-out one pieces.
Qiss Qiss will be officially launched for the Spring/Summer 2008 season, when it will reveal an entire collection of new designs that have the glamour-appeal and originality that are bound to make it a
tremendous success.
About Aqualara Inc.
Aqualara Inc. is a high-end swimwear manufacturer based in Montreal, Quebec. Founder and creative director, Reyhan

Gold Lingerie
A Chinese jewelry store has made a set of women's lingerie out of
solid gold.
It took a team of four goldsmiths four months to make the gold underwear which weighs 950 grams.
The owner of the Shenyang Cuihua Gold store, of Shenyang city, says it's the first of its kind in China.
"It's for demonstration, not for sale," he was reported as saying.
However, the store says the gold bra and pants would be worth more than £13,000, if they were for sale.

Tired?
For a couple years I've been blaming it on lack of sleep, not enough
sunshine, too much pressure from my job, earwax buildup, poor blood
anything else I could think of.
But now I found out the real reason:
I'm tired because I'm overworked.
Here's why:. . .
The population of this country is 273 million.
140 million are retired.
That leaves 133 million to do the work.
There are 85 million in school.
Which leaves 48 million to do the work.
Of this there are 29 million employed by the federal government.
Leaving 19 million to do the work.
2.8 million are in the armed forces preoccupied with killing Osama Bin-Laden.
Which leaves 16.2 million to do the work.
Take from that total the 14.8 million people who work for state and city governments.
And that leaves 1.4 million to do the work.
At any given time there are 188,000 people in hospitals.
Leaving 1,212,000 to do the work.
Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons.
That leaves just two people to do the work.
You and me.
And there you are, sitting on your butt, at your computer, reading jokes.
Nice. Real nice.

Wal-Mart Ordered To
Pay $62M
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. was ordered to pay another $62.3 million to workers
in Pennsylvania who said they weren't allowed rest and meal breaks.
Philadelphia Common Pleas Judge Mark Bernstein said he was penalizing the Bentonville, Ark-based retailers because there was no "good faith" reason for in effect
underpaying the employees.
The class-action suit involves 187.000 current and former employees who worked at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club from March 1998 thru May 2006. A jury last year awarded them $78.5 million.
A smaller number of workers - 124,506 who worked from January 2002 thru October 2006 - qualified for the damages awarded. They will get about $500 each under a state law invoked when a company withholds pay for more than 30 days without cause.
Wal-Mart has been involved in similar suits across the country. A trial in California ended with a $172 million verdict, which the company is appealing. Wal-Mart settled a Colorado suit for $50 million. There are cases pending in New Jersey and other states.
"While Wal-Mart respects the court and the jury, we strongly disagree with the decisions against he company in this case," said Sharon Weber, a Wal-Mart spokeswoman. "It is our policy to pay every associate for every hour worked, and any manager who violates that policy is subject to
discipline."
