Three Nuns
Three Italian nuns die and go to heaven.
At the Pearly Gates, they are met by St. Peter. He says, "Sisters, you all led such exemplary lives that the Lord is granting you six months to go back to earth and be anyone you wish to be.
The first nun says, "I want to be Sophia Loren;"
*Poof* she's gone.
The second says, "I want to be Madonna and *poof* she's gone.
The third says, "I want to be Sara Pipalini.."
St. Peter looks perplexed. "Who?" he ask
"Sara Pipalini," replies the nun.
St. Peter shakes his head and says, "I'm sorry, but that name just doesn't ring a bell."
The nun then takes a newspaper out of her habit and hands it to St. Peter.
St. Peter reads the paper and starts laughing. He hands it back to her and says....
"No sister, the paper says it was the ' Sahara Pipeline' that was laid by 1,400 men in 6 months."

China Bans "Saucy" Ads
Days after banning "sexually provocative sounds" on television, China has now stopped networks showing "saucy" adverts for push-up bras and figure-hugging underwear ahead of a major Communist Party meeting next month.
Other targets of the crackdown are "low-brow and base" commercials for sex toys and those featuring famous people or experts attesting to the efficacy of medicines, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television said on its Web site (www.sarft.gov.cn).
"Every television advertisement management bureau and television station must strengthen their political consciousness and responsibility toward society," Tian Jin, deputy head of the regulator, was quoted as saying.
The order is the latest in a raft of measures which have included axing reality shows featuring sex changes and plastic surgery and banning talent contests during prime-time.
The media watchdog's edicts have reached fever pitch in recent weeks, ahead of a meeting of the 17th Party congress, a sensitive five-yearly meeting at which key national leaders are appointed and policy set for the next few years.
It earlier urged the country's increasingly freewheeling broadcasters to forgo vulgarity and bad taste in the pursuit of ratings in favor of providing "inspiring" content for the masses imbued with "socialist" values.

Dreamgirl Teams Up With
              Centerstone
CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of Web-based sales order management software for manufacturers of apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, announced that Dreamgirl International of Los Angeles has selected the company’s iVendix software application. iVendix will provide Dreamgirl with a business-to-business on-line ordering solution for more than 5,000 of their retail dealers and sales reps in North America. When Dreamgirls International goes “live” on the application dealers and sales reps will be able to view automated catalogs, check on the availability of product, place orders, and track and monitor the status of those orders using iVendix since it is accessible 24/7 via the Web.
Christopher Scharff, president of Dreamgirl International said “In order to continue to provide a superior level of customer service in today’s business environment we felt that Dreamgirl needed a proven solution that would be quickly adopted by our specialty retailers, and CenterStone’s iVendix solution has rapidly become the industry standard for B2B solutions. With more than 10,000 users of their Web-based application, we are confident that our customers will also be quick to embrace CenterStone’s iVendix solution. We want our customers to see product availability and be able to place and track orders 24/7. And because this new solution is internet-enabled, and available 24/7, our dealers will be able to spend more time during the day on their shop floors with their customers and still be able to conduct business with Dreamgirl after normal, retail business hours. Having the hottest products has always been an important tradition at Dreamgirl, but being easy to do business with, will also help us continue to set our brand apart. With this new sales order management solution, Dreamgirl expects to take a leadership role by setting a new standard for customer service in the lingerie and intimate apparel industries.”
Tom Detmer, chief executive officer of CenterStone Technologies, commented, “Dreamgirl understands the importance of the specialty retail distribution channel to the building of a world-class consumer brand. It is the specialty retailers that truly support, promote and protect a company’s brand identity. Look at all the successful brands in the apparel and footwear markets, and all the great ones started out in specialty retail. Christopher Scharff and his senior management team understand the unique value that this distribution channel provides, and wants to maintain it as a distinct, strong and vibrant channel for the Dreamgirl brand. So, we’re thrilled that they have selected CenterStone to help with their brand expansion by providing their dealers with our on-line B2B solution,” he said.
“We interact with hundreds of specialty retailers every day, and they are very vocal about wanting to conduct business at their convenience on a 24/7 basis using the CenterStone solution. When a vendor is easier for specialty retailers to do business with – as Dreamgirl will now be with the CenterStone B2B solution – retailers transact more business with these vendors. According to our most recent retail survey results, 54 percent of retailers spend more with vendors who have on-line ordering systems like CenterStone’s, and they spend, on average, 13 percent more with these vendors. Our iVendix solution delivers a large and extensive user community that is continuing to grow at a very rapid pace. And it is the adoption rate by this user community that will drive the ROI for Dreamgirl and will help them continue to grow their brand in the specialty retail channel,” Detmer said.
Some of the brands that currently use CenterStone’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and make the company’s other solutions available to retail customers and sales reps include: The North Face, JanSport, Vans, Reef and VF Imagewear, all part of VF Corporation; Pearl Izumi, a division of Nautilus, Inc.; Marmot Mountain, Ex Officio, Marker Apparel, Adio Footwear and Planet Earth, part of K2 Corporation; Under Armour; Helly Hansen; Perry Ellis Intl.; Geneva Watch Group; Cleveland Golf, and Fidra Golf, part of Quiksilver; SmartWool, a division of Timberland; RipCurl; Billabong; Sport Obermeyer; Smith Optics; Garmont and Bridgedale; KHS Bicycles; Dale of Norway; O’Neill Clothing; Hot Chillys; Petzl; and Four Star Distribution.

Dita Von Teese Poses for
                   PETA
A new PETA ad features burlesque queen Dita Von Teese as the teacher of every schoolboy's dreams: She's cinched in by a powder-pink corset, wearing stilettos and fishnet stockings -- and well aware of the effect she's having on the apt pupil sitting at her feet.
Teese's ad shows her teaching the ABCs -- which stands for Animal Birth Control.
The ad quotes Von Teese as saying: "Nearly 4 million dogs and cats are put to death in the U.S. every year because there are not enough good homes. You can help prevent this -- always spay or neuter your animals, and if you're considering adding a dog or cat to your family, please adopt from your local animal shelter."
PETA has perfected the art of using celebrity -- and racy or offbeat images -- to deliver animal-rights messages that might otherwise be rebuffed. Among the A-list stars and bold-faced names it has partnered up with over the years: Forest Whitaker, Charlize Theron, Kim Basinger, Pamela Anderson, Paul McCartney, Christy Turlington, Dennis Rodman, Edie Falco, and Alyssa Milano.
Alicia Silverstone appeared naked in a PETA commercial promoting vegetarianism which was set to run in Houston at the end of September. The ad never aired because of its nude content, Comcast Cable Communications Inc. spokeswoman said.
