Cortefiel Expands to South
               Korea
Cortefiel, the Spanish fashion retailer trailing Inditex in conquering the global markets, has struck a deal with JP Partners to open 80 stores in South Korea.
Under the agreement, JK will manage Cortefiel's Springfield and Women's Secret banners in this market, which the company labeled as "one of the most developed and dynamic in the region."
Cortefiel did not provide a timeline for the new store openings. It said the agreement allows it to buy some of the stores in seven years.
The deal follows several others forged by Cortefiel in the UK, Russia-Ukraine and Italy which will boost the company's goal to open more than 500 new stores by 2014.
Cortefiel also announced it inaugurated two flagship Springfield and Women's Secret shops in London this week.
The stores were opened in the One New Exchange mall in London's city center.
In the UK, Cortefiel is expanding in partnership with retail group Brand Empire.

How to Dress Like Dita von Teese
                                 by Treacle

Dita, Dita, Dita...what can I say about her that hasn't been said already? From being a muse to couture fashion houses like Jean Paul Gaultier to designing luxury lingerie collections for the likes of Wonderbra and Frederick's of Hollywood to selling out burlesque and striptease shows worldwide, Dita is more than a woman...she's an icon.
On the personal side, I love what Dita von Teese has to say about lingerie. Like her, I believe that "Lingerie is not about seducing men, it's about embracing womanhood." And I also "...love it when you can go about your daily business with the knowledge that you have a little secret of your own underneath." With that in mind, why don't we take a look at a few key pieces that can give anyone a Dita-worthy wardrobe.

Stockings
Dita von Teese is almost never seen without her stockings, and thanks to an exclusive deal with Secrets in Lace, you can wear the exact same nylons that she does in her burlesque shows and stage performances. The pair shown to the right is the Dita Glamour French Heel, and you can purchase it here.

Corsets
Along with her many talents, Dita is famous for being able to tightlace her corsets from a natural waist size of 22" down to 16.5." While I don't recommend that kind of extreme body modification (Dita already has an extraordinarily curvy figure), I do recommend the corsets from What Katie Did. You can buy a basic black underbust (like the one to the right) for less than $200.

Girdles, Garter Belts, & Bullet Bras
A pin-up model's look isn't complete without a retro-style bra, and how will your fully-fashioned stockings stay up without the right garter belt? Fortunately, Kiss Me Deadly has you covered. Authentic vintage patterns inspire all their designs, so whatever you buy will make you look and feel like Ms. von Teese herself. I recommend the limited edition DeVille Suspender Skirt & Strapless Bra.

                              Woodiees -
Not Your Father's Underwear

After several years of market research and development Bruce Brodsho, President and owner of Eco2wear, announces the introduction to the market place of woodiees, a men’s underwear collection that will revolutionize the way men buy and wear underwear.
Our target customer ranges from the college student to the mature golfer playing 18 holes who wants stylish underwear that is also seriously comfortable to wear and the unforgettable name doesn’t hurt either. Yes, the brand name is a bit risqué however it is derived from the simple fact that the material used is made from actual wood from the Eucalyptus tree. woodiees is made from TENCEL®, a natural fabric derived from the wood cellulose from the Eucalyptus tree with minimal impact on the environment and with the responsible use of energy and water. TENCEL® fibers are naturally pure and contain no bleach, pesticides or agricultural chemicals. woodiees are the world’s most comfortable underwear with wicking properties while being eco friendly. For more information go to TENCEL®’s website. www.lenzing.com.
Men’s underwear is a $4 billion dollar industry and has struggled for several years to generate sales increases. NPD, the retail industry’s gold standard in tracking sales, reports that sales in 2010 have increased 9% due to the many new product introductions using color, new fabrics and styling encouraging men to update their underwear wardrobe.
woodiees intends to capitalize on this growth trend with a collection that features styling, design, comfort, fun, eco friendly fabric and wicking properties that will appeal to a wide range of consumers. They have teamed up with George Hardy Sales and Marketing who has an extensive background in retail and apparel to launch the collection.
George Hardy, President and founder was quoted as saying that he is excited to team up with Eco2wear to sell and market the woodiees brand to his extensive list of retailer contacts. The list is endless as we reach out to men and women soon. Yes, plans are underway for woodiees for Her, a natural product extension for couples. Preliminary conversations with major retailers are underway and they are eager to be part of this exciting launch that promises a huge volume potential in this difficult retail business climate.

A One-Night Stand Love Story
                   by Kelly Dooley
On October 7, we had a "one night stand" Louis Vuitton trunk show at Only Hearts on Mott Street in NYC, and I must say, it was absolutely fab! We had complimentary bra fittings, a variety of delectable vino, and free gifties with every purchase of BodyRock. I hosted the event with celeb stylist, Jess Zaino, who always brings the funk. For those of you who could not make it, I'd like to give you a few tips on how to find the right sports bra for you because we all know how frustrating this can be!!! Finding the right sports bra is arguably more important than finding the right piece of racy lingerie. Let's face it--when you're running or kickboxing or taking a Zumba class, your girls need to stay in place so that they don't end up looking like a pair of flapjacks.
Here are some tips that have proven to be extremely helpful to our bevy of fabuloussss BodyRock customers:
(1) If you have very broad shoulders, chances are that you'll need to order a size up. The elastic band on a sports bra typically stretches out 2-4 inches, so keep this in mind before pulling a sports bra over your head. The elastic band on the bra should be nice 'n' snug.
(2) You need to make sure that the bra isn't too big. A great way to determine this is to run in place while you're trying on a sports bra. If the bra gapes, changes are it's too big for you! You also need to determine whether the bra will cause chafing. If the straps stay in place, as they should, then chances are that you will not have chafing problems. If you feel that the bra is the right size but are weary of chafing, simply apply Body Glide or Vaseline to your skin in areas of concern before working out.
(3) You also need to know if a sports bra is too small--if the bra rides up in the back or digs in on the side, try a size up (don't get sad if you need to go a size up in a sports bra. The built-in support in many bras makes the fit of a sports bra more snug that regular bras. Besides, once you cut the tag off, nobody will know what size you bought, and trust me, no one minds a voluptuous set of girls).
If you have an other questions about finding the right fit for your girls, feel free to email as at info@bodyrocksport.com

                    Golfing Groom
The bride came down the aisle and when she reached the altar, the groom was standing there with his golf bag and clubs at his side.
She said:" What are your golf clubs doing here"?
He looked her right in the eye and said, "This isn't going to take all day, is it?"
