Epidural
My niece, pregnant with her second child, was certain she wanted an epidural for pain management during childbirth. Her doctor asked her at which stage of labor she wanted the epidural administered.
Her response: "Just meet me in the parking lot!"

$3 Million Bra
Victoria's Secret has been selling its convertible bras for years, but when shoppers receive the lingerie retailer's newest catalog in the mail, they'll find one version with a $3 million price tag.
The latest of the diamond-studded stunners that Victoria's Secret reveals each year is a Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Convertible bra crafted with an 18-karat gold harlequin-patterned net and embellished with 2,355 colorless and cognac diamonds. Topping it all off is a rare, 16-carat heart-shaped diamond in a champagne hue.
The "Harlequin Fantasy Bra," as it has been named, was designed by Italian jewelry house Damiani and manufactured at the brand's workshop in Valenza, Italy.
A team of 15 artisans labored for more than 800 hours to produce the bra's gold framework and hand-set its nearly 150 carats of diamonds. Each link of the bra's intertwining gold frame, as well as all of the feather-like gold elements that line the bra, were mounted individually and move independently. After the diamonds were set, the artisans set to burnishing the gold, protecting each stone with an enamel solution before submerging the piece in a rhodium bath. The final result: a striking contrast between the sparkle of the diamonds and the darkened gold.
While the question remains as to whether or not this year's diamond fantasy bra will find a buyer, interested parties might like the fact that the "convertible" nature of the bra lives up to its name. The black satin base bra can be removed, allowing one to mount the diamond bra onto a bustier or an evening gown.
Victoria's Secret model Marisa Miller will wear the Harlequin Fantasy Bra in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, airing Tuesday, Dec. 1 on CBS.

Asda's Packaging 'Scorecard'
Asda plans to roll out a version of a scheme introduced by parent Wal-Mart to encourage suppliers to produce more sustainable packaging.
The UK's second-largest retailer is working on its own concept of Wal-Mart's "packaging scorecard" and is looking to launch the program in the first quarter of 2010.
The scorecard was introduced in the US last year to allow buyers at Wal-Mart to judge whether suppliers were working to reduce the impact of their packaging on the environment.
Claire Costello, Asda's general manager for central buying, said the retailer had created a "sustainable value network" of manufacturers and packaging firms to draw up the criteria for its own scorecard.
Details of the UK scorecard are still being discussed, Costello said, but it is expected to be introduced early next year.

Naked Pumpkin Runners
Offered Orange Undies
A Boulder restaurant wants to help participants in the annual Halloween “Naked Pumpkin Run” avoid arrest by providing them with low-cut orange underwear.
About a dozen people running naked in Boulder while wearing freshly gutted pumpkins on their heads were ticketed last year for indecent exposure. No one was convicted but there was concern that under state law the streakers would be labeled sex offenders if they had been.
Hapa Sushi owner Mark Van Grack says he is handing out the orange undies because he's afraid the runners will be arrested if they bare all. It doesn't hurt that the underwear also sports the restaurant's name on the rear along with a reminder to “run responsibly.”
More than 100 people took part in last year's run down Boulder's pedestrian mall.
