Target Sells Credit Card
        Receivables
Discount retailer Target Corporation has reached an agreement to sell nearly half its credit card receivables to financial services firm JPMorgan Chase for $3.6bn.
Target said that the transaction covers 47% of its outstanding receivables, and is expected to close before the end of May.
The deal gives Target access to the cash needed to implement its business plans, without putting it into debt.
