Nude farmers creating stir in
Sweden
STOCKHOLM, Sweden - A calendar featuring nude farmers armed with
pitchforks, shovels and wheelbarrows is creating a stir in Swedish
agriculture circles.
A national farming organization, which presented a similar, hugely
successful, calendar last year, is worried that the new version made by a
local group of farmers could defeat the purpose of the original calendar.

Underwear Event
On any given day, W hotels have their share of patrons who look like
underwear models. But the trendy inns will be filled with official ones:
male and female posers, clad in their skivvies, will be on hand at all 16
W hotels in the U.S. for a special event entitled "Hang Loose."
 This
is no mere hotel press bonanza (perish the thought). The event actually
heralds the release of findings from a National Boxers vs Briefs vs Bare
Survey. For the survey, women across the country were asked what male
celebs they think wear boxers, briefs, or nothing.
In tandem with the event, all W's will offer a special summer weekend
package featuring reduced rates (starting at $109 a night), a pair of Joe
Boxer W briefs, and two free drinks at the hotel's bar(s).
Each of the hotels will host its own underwear-themed event on Tuesday.
Notable examples include the W San Diego, which hasn't been built yet, but
whose construction workers will be challenged to work in their underwear
for a day; and the W San Francisco, which will end its day-long
festivities with a Twister match.
The W hotel chain, historically, is no shrinking violet when it comes to
such matters. Its Times Square outpost offers couples a "Sex in the
Sheets" package, featuring a pint of ice cream, butterscotch sauce,
marshmallows, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce - plus a plastic sheet
and Polaroid camera.
