Egyptian Textile Workers
on Strike
Thousands of Egyptian textile factory workers are on strike,
demanding better pay and bonuses.
Laborers from three factories in the Delta region are breaking the law by striking, since taking such an action is banned in Egypt.
Officials are unlikely to enter into high levels of confrontations with workers are they are focused on continuing their
privatization plans.

The International Lingerie
Show in Miami
The International Lingerie Show ran from January 21 to 22 at Sheraton Mart Expo Center in Miami, Florida.
Michael Moreira said, "For a regional show, we were quite satisfied with the turnout of buyers. There were plenty of order sheets filled thru the duration of the two days."
He went on to say "We are very excited about our upcoming shows in Las Vegas in April. This will be our largest lingerie show to date, covering the new Adult Halloween Show, Lingerie Classique and the International Lingerie Show all held under one roof at the Rio Hotel and Casino."
Rubies, Dreamgirl, Shirley of Hollywood, Forplay and Leg Avenue are just a few of the lines that will be showing their costumes at the new Adult
Halloween Show.
The lingerie/dancewear section will be in the Miranda Room and is anchored by some great lines such as Rene Rofe, Baby Phat and Roca Wear.
"We are enhancing the show, bringing in more selections under one roof. We want the buyers to have the option of one-stop shopping when they come to the Rio."
The Adult Halloween Show, Lingerie Classique and the International Lingerie Show will be held April 16-18, 2007 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas. For more information please go to
