Agent Provocateur's Earnings
                Down 8%

Intimate apparel company Agent Provocateur has posted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of GBP2.2m (US$3.2m) for full-year 2008, down from GBP2.67m in the prior year.
It said the earnings deficit follows "ongoing investment in new stores, head office infrastructure and marketing and the increased cost base required for further international expansion".
The company, which designs, produces and retails of luxury lingerie, said full-year sales were up 26% to GBP20.7m for the year ended March 31.
Since the business was acquired by private equity firm 3i in November 2007, 13 new stores have been opened bringing its total to 43 outlets.
In its outlook the company said it was benefiting from an ongoing investment program, with year to date total sales currently 8% ahead of the same period last year.
Garry Hogarth, Agent Provocateur's chief executive, said: "Agent Provocateur is going from strength to strength. Despite the challenges of the global economic environment, we continue to trade strongly and remain committed to our ongoing investment program across the business.
"This significant investment program, including new store openings in some exciting locations in the world, has given us the platform to grow the business.
"We are confident that our robust business model and strong operational disciplines will ensure our continued success and we look forward to reporting on further progress."

UK Retail Price Index Hits
                  Zero
Fears that Britain was about to enter deflation for the first time in nearly 50 years have been temporarily stalled after the Retail Price Index (RPI) fell to zero in February.
The RPI, a key measure of inflation, fell to 0%, down from 0.1% in January - but didn't dip into negative territory as many economists had been expecting.
However, the Consumer Prices Index (CPI), which excludes mortgage costs, rose to 3.2% in February, up from 3.0% a month earlier.
The largest upward pressure on prices came from food and non-alcoholic beverages, but also saw higher clothing and footwear prices than a year ago.

US Consumers Cut Back On
            Spending
US consumers are spending less on clothing, entertainment and eating out in order to pay their monthly mortgage or rent costs according to a new survey released March 23.
Nearly three-quarters (72%) of adults have cut back on clothing, personal care and personal luxuries so that they can pay their housing costs, the data reveals.
The research by Move Inc surveyed around 1000 people.
It also found 18.1% of adults plan to buy a home this year in order to take advantage of the $8,000 tax credit recently passed by Congress in the administration's economic stimulus package.
Move Inc CEO Steve Berkowitz said homeowners are "doing everything they can, from reducing discretionary spending to pay their mortgages, to planning to take advantage of the administration's new program to stop foreclosures."

Trip to the Doctor
A beautiful, voluptuous woman went to a gynecologist.
The doctor took one look at this woman and all his professionalism went out the window.
He immediately told her to undress. After she had disrobed the doctor began to stroke her thigh. Doing so, he asked her, "Do you know what I'm doing?"
"Yes," she replied, "you're checking for any abrasions or dermatological abnormalities."
"That is right," said the doctor. He then began to fondle her breasts. "Do
you know what I'm doing now?" he asked.
"Yes," the woman said, "you're checking for any lumps or breast cancer." "Correct," replied the shady doctor.
Finally, he mounted his patient and started having sexual intercourse with her. He asked, "Do you know what I'm doing now?"
"Yes," she said. "You're getting herpes; which is why I came here in the first place."
