New Addition to Magic Silk
Magic Silk is proud to announce a new addition to their design team, Alison Mandzik. Mandzik is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she specialized in intimate apparel. Picking up some valuable experience at Flora Nikrooz and Hanky Panky Lingerie, Mandzik comes to Magic Silk with a fresh perspective and a devotion to her craft.
“I am so passionate about lingerie,” said Mandzik. “It is the most intimate and personal thing a woman can put on her body, and it’s so important that each and every piece has the best fit, highest quality fabric, and most flattering style possible. As an avid lingerie shopper myself, I know all too well how much of a responsibility it is to make every woman feel like they are the only woman.”
“While I have been creating the perfect fit for Magic Silk, I have come to realize that Magic Silk is the perfect fit for me. I am constantly amazed at the personal attention that customers receive, and the care that goes into all aspects of the company, from sketching to shipping. I have been given the chance to not only celebrate the Magic Silk niche of gorgeous 100% silk lingerie, but to also begin to explore the possibilities of other fabrics and micro fibers. Working at Magic Silk has truly been a dream come true for me.”
Magic Silk has long been a leader in the lingerie industry for their superior products, unique styles, and excellent service.

Good morning,
I am a recent subscriber to the newsletter and find it very helpful.
We are a new company specializing in women's thongs and panties
featuring handcrafted beadwork or jewelry that hangs outside the front of low-rise pants. So far we have been struggling as any new company does to get traffic to our website. We only sell online via, www.luckydrawers.com. Do you have any feedback for us? Customers seem to love the idea and our logo, but as I said before, we are struggling for business especially with a small advertising and marketing budget.
Thanks for any information you can give. We really appreciate it!
Regards,
Kathleen Bandaruk
Lucky Drawers LLC

Hello Kathleen,
Thank you for your question regarding increased sales from your website. You definitely have a great niche product for the lingerie industry that should go over well within the young ladies target markets. You've also got a very well designed website with specific consideration to your keywords and descriptions. I would however, consider changing your "Title" on your HTML code to "Lucky Drawers" instead of your website address. I found your site on Google by typing in a search for those two words independently.
After doing some research on your site, I found that you are not listed on two important major search engines. It is critical to an online business to get listed on the 3 top engines in order to make more money. The search engines that I would concentrate on getting listed with are MSN, and Yahoo. These can cost you a little money to get listed with although you can get listed for free on Yahoo simply by going through their submitting process and waiting to get listed. Another way to get listed for free in the long run is to first get a listing on www.dmoz.org. This is more of a directory but it is also an inexpensive way to eventually get listed free on most of the major search engines who utilize this directory for their listings.
Another trick to get the search engines to notice your site and get more visitors too, is to add keywords to your photographs and graphics on your site. You can do this by naming your graphics and pictures with words that are relevant to your products. Currently, your main "header" graphic is named: "top". Your main logo graphic is named: "new_logo". Try renaming these two graphics with keywords such as "Lucky_Drawers" or "thongs". Name them something that you are trying to sell on your site. You should also have "Alternative Text" for your main graphics. When a site visitor moves his mouse over your graphics, you should set your HTML code to show this text which should be chock full of keywords pertaining to your site. I hope this helps you out some.
Good Luck with your online marketing!
Kevin
