              The Party!! 
At precisely 11:30, the Vanity Fair girls slipped past the velvet ropes,  lots of A-listers failed to make the cut.   Designers Donatella Versace and Pamela Dennis, who arrived with a very svelte K.D. Lang, were turned away at the door, and Thora Birch was told to move to another entrance a block away. Denis Leary, who arrived with a very young Latin woman, was told to move on. "Hey, I'm on your side, I watch you all the time," said the security guard who turned Leary away, "but I can't help you." Even heavyweight Harvey Weinstein had problems -- we heard his assistant screaming into a cell phone because he was having trouble at the door, so he had to circle the block in his limo.

Still, the celebs who did make it inside were rocking out: I saw Vince Vaughn carrying drinks for his friends, Renιe Zellweger, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Elizabeth Hurley and Calista Flockhart deep in conversation with Rob Lowe within five minutes of arriving. And even without Russell Crowe (rumor has it he skipped all parties because he had to be up shooting) the party was a roaring success.
When they were not watching the door for a never-ending line of superstar entrances, everyone was talking about the surprise Marcia Gay Harden win for Best Supporting Actress. She was one of the nominees who decided to skip the party -- seems Vanity Fair rules only allowed a plus-one, so she couldn't bring both her parents. 
And there were lots of happy couples smooching -- James Woods showed up with girlfriend Hilary Rosen, and we spotted Jennifer Lopez holding hands with Cris Judd -- even though she did come out to pose with Puffy for photographers. But for some, one just wasn't enough. 
Anthony Hopkins snuggled with three buxom blondes in a corner booth, while Hugh Hefner arrived with his usual posse of bleached-blonde playmates.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS has revealed what he's going to do with all  aiming to make a jacket out of them.
Rob is the modern day Tom Jones and is often pelted by underwear when he's performing.
But he's decided to put the saucy garments to good use by sewing them together to make a wacky coat.

1) The vendor contracts with U.P.S. to Warehouse, Ship, Collect C.O.D. money, Deposit it in U.P.S. Acct under their own stamp, deposit and hold the Vendor's money in U.P.S.'s bank acct. Without notififying the Retail Customer.
2) It seems to me that if you make a check out to "ABC Lingerie Mfg'rs, Inc."  your check should be signed by "ABC Lingerie Mfg'rs, Inc." or the Vendor should send a notice of intent and details.
3) I have seen checks cashed by "in house Factors", but it is deposited In behalf of the Vendor with the Vendors name given.
4) Why the concern? When one receives their return checks and you see your check cashed by BANK ONE in LPSI LOU, KY, you want to know "Whats Happening.". You as a Retailer and the writer of the checks have a right to know who is handling your money, Who, Where & How.
